Can I add images to a study without starting a new case?

To answer this question a bit of an understanding about the way the DVMinsight engine works is necessary. When a case is sent to DVMinsight, an exam is created and is marked OPEN. The exam stays OPEN for up to three days. Any images that match the exams ID's are automatically added to the current exam as long as the case is OPEN. If at any time the exam is CLOSED new images will create a new exam. An exam will be marked CLOSED if: 1. The exam stays open for 3 days - it will automatically close. 2. A radiologist reads the case So, the answer to this question is: If images are submitted within 3 days of the initial submission and a radiologist has not read the case, the exam will remain open and new images will be added to the open exam. | |
